The Cosmopolitan Las Vegas

The Cosmopolitan Las Vegas sits at the heart of the Strip, overlooking magnificent views of America’s own sin city. The Cosmopolitan offers luxury amenities including a top of the line spa, multiple pools, a restaurant, and of course a casino. The price point for Las Vegas hotels is fair, ranging from about $250-$300 a night. The Cosmopolitan is one of Las Vegas’ newest hotels, being built in 2005. This past year, The Cosmopolitan won Gogobot’s award for “The Best Hotel in the World”.

MGM Grand

The MGM Grand is one of the best known hotels and casinos in Las Vegas. As the second largest hotel in the world, the MGM Grand is the center of the Strip. Known for its array of entertainment within the hotel, the MGM Grand has almost every amenity possible. The MGM Grand Casino has one of the largest gaming floors in all of Las Vegas, which has been featured in multiple movies. After undergoing a major renovation in 2000, the hotel took on a classic Hollywood theme. The MGM Grand is one of the best priced hotels in Las Vegas, with rooms as low as $100 a night.

Mandalay Bay

Mandalay Bay is perhaps the most unique hotel in Las Vegas, unable to miss in its gold themed exterior. Mandalay Bay offers events and nightlife such as beach concert series, performances by Cirque de Soleil, and their very own shark reef. Accommodations are top of the line, with rooms and suites overlooking the city. Visitors will find that the hotel has very reasonable prices, starting at $60 a night for a single deluxe room. The hotel is best known for the musical guests that perform including Maroon 5, Jay Z, and Journey. 

The Bellagio

The Bellagio is a trademark of Las Vegas culture. It has won the coveted AAA Five Diamond Award over 12 years in a row, and stands to be one of the most visited hotels on the strip. Inspired by Italian architecture, the Bellagio is known for its unique structure. Most remarkably, the Bellagio is known for the Fountains of Bellagio, which cover 8 acres between the hotel and the Strip and contain a large dancing water fountain synchronized to music. The Bellagio has rooms starting from around $150-$200. 

Wynn Las Vegas

The Wynn Las Vegas is one of Las Vegas’ newer hotels, opening in April of 2005. Located directly across from The Strip on the corner of Las Vegas Blvd. and Sands Avenue, Wynn is a luxury resort that offers amenities such as clubs, shows, and multiple restaurants. The Wynn is also the first resort to offer a luxury car dealership. They carry Ferrari and Maserati brands, which guests are able to go look at for a low fee. The Wynn has a wide range of prices, from a deluxe resort king price at $200 a night to suites priced as high as $900.

Caesar's Palace

Caesar’s Palace is one of the oldest and most famous hotels on the Las Vegas Strip. Sitting between the Bellagio and the Mirage, the hotel was built in 1962 and has been well known ever since. Featured in numerous movies and television shows, Caesar’s Palace is the most sought out Vegas hotel in the entertainment business. The hotel has fantastic rates and discounts with rooms as low as $139 a night. 

Aria Las Vegas

The Aria Las Vegas is a newer resort on the Strip that has been noted as the “most technologically advanced hotel ever built” by Popular Mechanics. It contains “smart rooms” that automatically adjust curtains, turn off unused lights, and regulate the temperature. In keep with the environmentally conservative atmosphere the hotel’s design is very natural. With a 150,000 sq ft casino, 16 restaurants, and 10 bars, the Aria is full of entertainment and nightlife. With rooms as low as $159 a night, the Aria is one of Las Vegas’ most reasonably priced resorts. 

Monte Carlo Las Vegas

The Monte Carlo Las Vegas is a premier resort on the Strip. Known for its permanent show The Blue Man Group, the Monte Carlo is one of the most visited resorts in Sin City. The resort has every amenity you could ask for, with a luxury unique even in Las Vegas. With some of the lowest prices on the Strip, the Monte Carlo offers rooms as low as $70. However, if you are looking for a more luxurious experience, the hotel has a boutique hotel located on the top floor called Hotel32. The extension has 50 rooms ranging from 850 sq ft studios to 2000 sq ft penthouse suites that all have access to personal butlers and high-tech rooms. 

The Luxor

The Luxor is one of Las Vegas’ most recognizable hotels, in the shape of a pyramid that stands out even on the Strip. The 30 story hotel is highly modernized and is well known for its “sky beam” that shoots up into the sky at night, and is the strongest beam of light in the world. Very reasonably priced, the resort has rooms available for as low as $65 a night. The hotel has permanent shows including Criss Angel, and the Jabbawockeez.

The Mirage

The Mirage is one of the oldest and most famous resorts on the Las Vegas Strip. Known for its numerous attractions including a Dolphin Habitat, artificial volcano, 53 foot long aquarium, and specialty pools, the Mirage is unlike any other resort on the Strip. The Mirage is also well known for the array of permanent shows they feature including Cirque de Soleil, Boyz II Men, and Terry Fator from “American’s Got Talent”. The Mirage has rooms from $120 including resort amenities.
